A Night at Casa Buchanan's

Hace unos días nos reunimos en el restaurante Maito – uno de los 50 mejores de Latinoamérica - para conocer la “Casa Buchanan’s”, un espacio “verde” que creó la gente de Diageo y Global Brands para que viviéramos una experiencia culinaria inspirada en “la nueva comida panameña”.

Con un menú especial preparado para disfrutar en conjunto con los diferentes cocktails a base de Buchanan’s 12 Deluxe y Buchanan’s 18 Special Reserve fue una noche verdaderamente divertida – hablando en serio no había visto a tanta gente cool reunida en un solo evento desde hace mucho.

La música también estaba buenísima – hasta pusieron “Yo No Soy Esa Mujer” de la Paulina Rubio – a tal punto que hasta Mayra Hurley y su banda de soul, jazz, blues y R&B cerraron la noche con broche de oro.

A couple of days ago we all gathered at Maito – one of the Top 50 restaurants in Latin America – to discover “casa Buchanan’s”, a green space created by the peeps at Diageo and Global Brands so we could have a culinary experience inspired by the “new Panamanian cuisine”.

With a well-thought special menu that revolved around all of the cocktails that were made with Buchanan’s 12 Deluxe and Buchanan’s 18 Special Reserve we had really special night – it really was, I had never seen a party with so many cool guests in a really long time – with great drinking and eating.

And last but not least, the music selection was top notch – the DJ even played old Paulina Rubio tunes which obvs made me go crazy – with a special presentation by the lovely Mayra Hurley and her band who serenated us with the best mix of soul, jazz, blues and R&B.
